Catalytic Seed Grant - Application Submission Portal

New Funding Announcement for Catalytic Seed Grants (CSG):
The Block Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at Einstein and Montefiore invites faculty members to request seed grants to generate data for the development of new extramural grant applications.
Projects supported by these CTSA funds must be clinical or translational in nature. Up to $10,000 may be requested to fund services provided by our Shared Core Facilities (http://www.einsteinmed.org/research/shared-facilities/), and the applications must be planned in consultation with the director of the core service requested. Projects must fall into one of our four priority areas:
  1. Experimental therapeutics-Chemical Biology
  2. Patient-centered outcomes research-Clinical Research Informatics
  3. Pediatric determinants of adult health-Includes child health and rare disease research
  4. Other Investigator-initiated proposals that build on a currently-funded extramural grant award
    CSG's may not be used to purchase equipment or for salary support, and any CTSA funds awarded must be expended by 4/30/2015. Additional details and instructions for electronic submission of applications can be found on the ICTR website at: https://www.einsteinmed.org/centers/ictr/

    PIs can apply for a username by sending the attached application to Dr. Vic Hatcher at (vhatcher@montefiore.org) and cc: Geoffrey Browne at (gebrowne@montefiore.org) of Research Administration and Sponsored Programs, as an attachment from their Montefiore email account.
